# add_team_member

`tools/call` · `POST /agent/v1/teams:add-member`

Add a workspace member to a team. Adding someone already in the team changes nothing. Returns the team with its members. Needs write access, and your person must be in the team or be a workspace owner or admin.

- Needs the write grant. Idempotent.

## Inputs

- `team` (string, required): A team key, such as WEB.
- `person` (string, required): A workspace member's email or user ID, such as maya@acme.dev.
