# delete_milestone

`tools/call` · `POST /agent/v1/milestones:delete`

Delete a milestone. Its tickets stay in the project without a milestone. The project must not be archived. Returns deleted: true with the project and milestone. Needs write access.

- Needs the write grant. Destructive. Idempotent.

## Inputs

- `project` (string, required): A project's slug, such as docs-launch.
- `milestone` (string, required): A milestone's label or number in the project, such as M2.
