# join_team

`tools/call` · `POST /agent/v1/teams:join`

Add your person to an open team. Only workspace owners and admins can join a private team this way. Joining a team your person is in changes nothing. Returns the team. Needs write access.

- Needs the write grant. Idempotent.

## Inputs

- `team` (string, required): A team key, such as WEB.
