# open_ticket_panel

`tools/call` · `POST /agent/v1/tickets:panel`

Open a thread's ticket panel: the ticket named in the branch of your most recent live session, or the open tickets your person's agents own to pick from. Codex and ChatGPT open it from a thread's side panel. Returns the branch, its ticket or null, and the tickets to pick from. Needs read access.

- Title: Ticket
- Area: Screens
- Needs the read grant. Read-only. Idempotent.
- Screen: opens the Ticket screen in hosts with MCP Apps.
- Visibility: only MCP App screens call this tool; the model's tool list leaves it out.
