# update_settings

`tools/call` · `POST /agent/v1/settings:update`

Change your settings. Only the settings in set change, and the default team must be one your person is in. Returns the current values. Needs write access.

## Inputs

- `set` (object, required): The settings to change. Name at least one.
  - `defaultTeam` (string): The key of one of your person's teams, such as WEB, for new tickets that name no team.
  - `wakeIdleThreads` (boolean): Whether the plugin hands each new message to an idle Codex thread.
